CROI 2014: Young Investigators

Reviewing the background and experiences that lead young scientific investigators to engage in advanced biomedical and infectious disease research. The mentors and experiences that the researchers have had throughout their education and the impact that working with opinion leaders in the field has had on their own work and their continued work in investigative research. The perspective of young investigators on the future of research towards an end of the HIV transmission epidemic and improving quality of life indicators for those living with HIV into the future.
