CROI 2014: Metabolics Panel

CROI 2014: Metabolics Panel

The panel focuses on metabolic complications of HIV and discusses specific issues surrounding heart failure as well as inflammation in the spleen, bone marrow and other organs. The panel reaches some consensus suggesting that exercise seems to have a significant impact on correcting bad health markers. The best thing for people living with HIV to do to reduce inflammatory markers would be to exercise regularly.
