Dr. Brew presented to the young investigators at this year’s CROI on the work that is being done and some of what he sees that still remains to be done in the field of neuroscience in HIV/AIDS. Here he discusses neurological markers, medications crossing the blood-brain barrier, scoring systems for toxicity and efficacy, future research in this field, and other neurological areas of disease, to collaborate and share good research that may evolve.
